FLOATING SPOOLIE CUP IMPINGEMENT BAFFLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine nozzle improved in the shapes of a spoolie and a supporting cup to cope with the difference in thermal moving during the operation. SOLUTION: A porous sleeve is included in an impingement baffle for a turbine nozzle stationary blade to discharge the impingement air therethrough. An upper end of the sleeve is closed by a cap having an inlet hole. A spoolie cup has a flange on its bottom edge, and the flange is mounted on the cap at the circumference of the inlet hole for passing the air therethrough. A holding body is fixed to the cap, and the cup flange is loosely caught on the flange to enable the cup flange to be limitedly slid in the lateral direction.
