PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling refrigerant capable of controlling a heater for compensating a temperature, without having to use a special- purpose sensor. SOLUTION: A heat insulation case of the refrigerator is partitioned into a plurality of storage chambers. One storage chamber is used as a cold storage chamber, and another storage chamber is used as a chamber for vegetables. A cold gas passed from a cooler through the cold storage chamber is guided to the chamber for vegetables to cool the chamber for vegetables. Furthermore, if a temperature of the cold gas passed through the cold storage chamber is low, the gas is heated by the heater for compensating the temperature in the chamber for vegetables to control the temperature of the chamber for vegetables. In this refrigerator, since an energizing time of the heater is controlled, in response to the operating ratio of the cooler, the heater can be controlled without using the special purpose sensor.
