PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin thread winder capable of uniformly winding a bobbin thread on a horizontal shuttle. SOLUTION: A bobbin drive gear 14 is provided with a ring 14a, a bobbin 22 is lifted by the ring 14a when the bobbin drive gear 14 is lifted to rotate a bobbin in conjunction with a bobbin driven gear 35 provided on the lower face of the bobbin 22 at a thread winding action, thereby the center section of a bobbin central shaft and a thread position regulating section at the tip section of a path feeding the bobbin thread are proximately located to each other.
