PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operability of a printer by a method wherein the printer can judge the availability to use by itself even when the printer is positioned under management of a printing restriction server. SOLUTION: A network transmission section 4a is an interface between a network 6 and the printer 4 and sends or receives data to or from the network 6. A network transmission section 3a is an interface between the network 6 and the printing restriction server 3 and sends or receives data to or from the network 6. A restriction information editing section 3b edits printing restriction information stored in a memory device 3d. A restriction information managing section 3c is a printing system that manages whether the printing restriction information is edited or stored in the memory device 3d. |
