<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device capable of carrying out reliable motion of upshift and downshift to a manual mode state from a select lever unit of an automatic transmission simultaneously having an automatic mode and a manual mode. SOLUTION: A gear shift pattern is constituted of P, R, N, D steps to carry out an automatic mode pattern on the same line in the longitudinal direction and an M step to carry out a manual mode pattern in the rear of it, an up-down shift switch is fixed on a vehicle body symmetrical with a central line of the M step, a lower end part is hinge-fastened on a hinge shaft in the longitudinal direction on one side of a select lever, an upper end part is positioned between the up and down shift switches, and the central part constitutes its characteristic feature of being constituted by including a rotating lever on which a key groove is engraved, a return means to provided recovering force to the rotating lever, a fastening key to receive torque by a key return spring and a key working load to rotationally actuate the fastening key on the outside and the inside of a case while vertically moving interlocked with a push button.</p> |
