PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the angle of oscillation or rotation of the output axis of an oscillation type operation appliance while the output axis is arranged coaxially with the input axis of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The operation appliance 10 has the input axis 16 connected to a rotation power source 100, extending along the center axis O1 in the longitudinal direction, and the output axis 32a connected to a medical cutting tool 50, extending along the center axis O1. In the operation apparatus 10, a first eccentric axis 16c is rotated around the center axis O1 by the rotation of the input axis 16, and a link member 26 engaged with the first eccentric axis 16c is mounted so that the link member can be oscillated. A second eccentric axis 32c extending on a parallel with the center axis O1 is connected to the output axis 32a and the second eccentric axis 32c is engaged with the link member 26, so that the oscillating motion of the link member 26 is converted to the reciprocating rotary motion of the output axis 32a.
