SHELF ELEVATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf elevating apparatus by accurately detecting the height of a shelf to accurately make an upper a lower limit stops work in a simple constitution, and to ensure safty by detecting the slack of an elevating rope and the overload. SOLUTION: In this elevating shelf apparatus, the elevating rope 3 of an outer case 1 side having the lower side opened is connected to the shelf part 2, and the shelf part 2 is provided to be freely raised to a storing position for storing the part in the outer case 1 and lowered to an article take-out and storing position. A projecting and recessed bar 8 having recessed parts 6 and projecting parts 7 alternately formed at a designated width W is provided extending over the whole length of an elevating path of the shelf part 2 of the outer case 1. The shelf part 2 is provided with a projecting and recessed part detecting means 9 for detecting the recessed parts 6 and the projecting parts 7. This apparatus is provided with a position detecting means 4 for detecting the position of the shelf part 2 according to the detection result of the projecting and recessed part detecting means 9.
