PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for manufacturing frozen desserts capable of accurately measuring hardness of the frozen desserts and maintaining the hardness independently of voltage fluctuation of a power supply. SOLUTION: This equipment for manufacturing frozen desserts installing a raw tank 8 for reserving raw materials for frozen desserts 24, a freezer body 1 which is connected to the raw tank 8 and in which the raw materials for frozen desserts 24 is cooled by a refrigerant and changes into the frozen desserts 25, an agitator 2 agitating the raw material for the frozen desserts 24 in the freezer body 1 driven by a motor 7 and a refrigerating cycle supplying the refrigerant to the freezer body 1, installs hardness adjusting means 50 adjusting hardness of the frozen desserts 24 by stopping supply of the refrigerant for cooling the freezer body 1 from the refrigerating cycle by detecting torque of the motor 7 from its slip ratio and the torque reaches above an predetermined value.
