PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip with built-in core, having good flexibility as a whole, capable of making deformation and pursuit to any shape of a sheet metal flange of the body, and pinching the sheet metal flange strongly. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing line of extrusion molding, core metal pieces in strip shape of steel having a thickness of 0.4-0.5 mm, a length of 35 mm, and a width of 2 mm are coupled together by coupling pieces, and as a whole, a core having an overall length of 500, 1500, or 2000 m is generated with is covered with a thermoplastic resin previously, and the resin-covered core is once crushed into splinters, followed by re-processing into the desired shape, and this is introduced into an extruder and subjected to a single-piece molding with thermoplastic resin using ordinary extrusion molding method.
