BAND LENGTH ADJUSTING MECHANISM OF ARM-FITTING PORTABLE APPLIANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band length adjusting mechanism capable of simply and easily changing the band length in an arm-fitting portable appliance, convenient when fitted to an arm (a wrist) such as portable information terminals including a wrist watch, a portable digital camera and a cellular phone. SOLUTION: The band length adjusting mechanism of the arm-fitting portable appliances comprising a portable appliance body and an arm ring band member pivotably fitted to one end side of the portable appliance body further comprises a band length adjusting member pivotably fitted to the other en side of the portable appliance body. The band length adjusting member comprises a passing opening part for passing a free end of the arm ring band member and a slidable slide-locking member to be urged in the direction for contracting the opening width of the passing opening part, and the free end part of the arm ring band member is inserted in the passing opening part and the arm ring band member is locked at a desired position by the slide locking member.
