摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a glass fiber reinforced polyamide resin excellent in strength and rigidity, especially excellent in rigidity at a high temperature and large in weight reducing effect. SOLUTION: In the process of the method for manufacturing the glass fiber reinforced polyamide resin wherein a polyamide resin and glass fibers are kneaded in a molten state, a same direction rotary twin screw extruder is used. The total barrel length L1 and barrel diameter D1 thereof have a ratio (L1/D1) of 30 or more. The polyamide resin is held to a molten state in the extruder, and glass fibers are supplied from a position downstream from the half of the barrel total length and a screw having at least a reverse direction screw. A ratio (L2/D2) of a screw block length L2 and a screw diameter D2 is a 0.3-1, at least at one place is used in the downstream side of the glass fiber supply position to melt and knead the polyamide resin and the glass fibers.
