PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toolholder that can change the angle of an edge direction without the removal of a bolt. SOLUTION: A rotary shank 1 is supported in a nonrotatable support member 3. The support member 3 is mounted with a head body 4 rotatable in idling fashion. The rotary shank 1 is coupled in the head body 4 to an angle shaft 5 arranged at a given angle to the rotary shank 1. The angle shaft 5 is mounted with a cutting tool T. The head body 4 has an annular projection 21. A clamping ringed member 22 abutting on one end face 21a of the projection 21 is rotatably fitted about the head body 4. When the ringed member 22 is coupled to the nonrotatable support member 3 with bolts 23, the nonrotatable support member 3 is pressed on the other end face 21b of the annular projection 21 and the clamping ringed member 22 is pressed on the one end face 21a of the annular projection 21 to fix the head body 4 in a position idle-rotated over a given angle with respect to the nonrotatable support member 3.
