<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wall thickness variations, fluctuations of rolling load, and changes of shape originating in deteriorating lubricity in a warm rolling. SOLUTION: When the warm rolling is performed while supplying a coolant through a work roll spray and the temperature of the plate stock in the exit side of the rolling mill is controlled to reach the target temperature, the coolant having a higher concentration than the coolant through the work roll spray against the plate stock with a pre-spray is supplied in the upstream side where a supply of coolant is performed through the work roll spray.</p> |
