PURPOSE: An optical slot routing structure is provided to configure a large-sized network by using the number of restricted wavelengths in a WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) network, and to simply process a routing in a bridge for connecting different rings, so as to increase a network speed. CONSTITUTION: A wavelength tuning transmitter(12) tunes a transmit channel with a receiving wavelength channel of a destination node, and transmits packets. A receiver(14) fixed to a specific wavelength for receiving packets targeted for the receiver(14) receives the packets through a dedicated wavelength channel. When optical slots are received, a CD(Channel Detector)(10) detects destination information of the optical slots and available wavelength channel information. The CD(10) transmits packets toward a destination of the optical slots. An SD(Slot Detector) of a bridge detects destination information of optical slots inputted from a backbone and optical slots inputted from a segment, and switches the information to an output link. |
