PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an access to a stairway for refuge, eliminate the leakage of smoke from a fired room, and prevent smoke from flowing into an elevator shaft. SOLUTION: An auxiliary room 16 adjacent to a corridor 14 is provided in a core part. The auxiliary room 16 is fed with air and pressurized by an air feed fan 30 at the time of fire. A smoke exhaust port 32 is disposed so as to face the auxiliary room 16 through the core part. The smoke exhaust port 32 is positioned apart from the auxiliary room 16. At the time of fire, an exhaust fan 36 is operated to exhaust the smoke in the corridor 14. Since air is fed to the corridor 14 through the auxiliary room 16 when the smoke in the corridor 14 is exhausted, an opening and closing trouble with the entrance door of a dwelling house does not occur, and the leakage of smoke from the fired room is not promoted. Also, the auxiliary room 16 is pressurized, and the leakage of smoke into the auxiliary room 16 is eliminated, and the smoke flows in the direction opposite to the auxiliary room 16. Accordingly, the direction of flow of the smoke is reversed to the direction of refuge, and inhabitants can escape safely to the stairway for refuge.
