PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation device which enables to translate a picture of a speaker as well as voice. SOLUTION: A voice recognizing part 1104 recognizes the contents of the first language which the speaker speaks on the basis of voice information and a voice translating part 1108 translates the first language to the second language on the basis of voice recognition result. A data storage part 1120 stores the data while allowing the visual element in the speaking of the second language to correspond to the data which numerically expresses the shape of articulation organ in the speaking of the second language. An image synthesizing part 1122 synthesizes the image for expressing the movement of the articulation organ corresponding to the speaking by the second language on the basis of the result of translation and the data in the data storage part 1120. A synchronous outputting part 1124 receives the voice synthesized by a voice synthesizing part 1110 and the synthesized image and synchronously outputs the same.
