<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure external data by utilizing the functions of a built-in microcomputer in a battery pack. SOLUTION: In this battery pack having the built-in microcomputer 1, capable of communication with an external apparatus through an input and output terminal to control charge and discharge and a residual quantity by measuring the temperature, voltage and charge and discharge current of a battery, a signal- inputting means ASW1, ASW2, R2, R3 to input an external analogue measuring signal into an A/D port for converting the analogue signal of the microcomputer to a digital signal through the input and output terminal 5 is provided; and the external analogue measuring signal inputted from the signal inputting means is converted into a digital value and the digital value is transmitted to the external apparatus by communication, in accordance with requirements from the external apparatus, by switching the microcomputer 1 to an analogue data measuring mode, so that the external data are measured by using the function of the built-in microcomputer in the battery pack.</p> |
