PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid crystal from deteriorating due to ultraviolet ray irradiation when end-sealing an opening part of a sealing material, formed into a frame shape between a pair of substrates constituting a liquid crystal panel, for liquid crystal injection with an end-sealing material composed of a photosetting resin. SOLUTION: At least one substrate is provided with a first region 61 which includes the end-sealing material 32 and a part of the sealing material 30 adjacent to the end-sealing material 32 and a second region 50 adjacent to the first region 61, having ultraviolet ray transmittance which is lower than that of the first region 61, when the substrate is viewed in plan.
