<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the improvement of cost efficiency for manufacturing a protector used for protecting one or a plurality of wire-harness bundles that expands and contracts corresponding to a movement (displacement) of a steering column having a telescopic function. SOLUTION: The protector comprises a protector body, which connectively holds a pair of sidewalls mounted apart from and in parallel with each other and a middle wall mounted between and in parallel with the mounted sidewalls by use of only a top plate and forms a plurality of harness-guide grooves of which the front and rear and the lower edges are open in the space between each wall, a fixable-side bracket for fixing the outgoing edge of one side of the protector body of one or a plurality of wire-harness bundles guided to the space between the protector body and each wall in the above to a car body, a movable-side bracket for fixing the outgoing edge of another side of the protector body of one or the plurality of wire-harness bundles in the above to a movable body equipped to the car body, and a body-fixing bracket for fixing the protector body to the car body.</p> |
