PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery wherein lithium metal, a raw material for sulfide series inorganic solid electrolyte thin film and the negative electrode where the inorganic solid electrolyte thin film has been formed are not deteriorated by an atmospheric air. SOLUTION: A negative electrode base material and the inorganic solid electrolyte raw material respectively housed in a sealed container are used. The negative electrode base material has the lithium metal on its surface. The negative electrode base material and the raw material are respectively taken out of the sealing container in the inside of a chamber 4 which is substantially inactive against the lithium and which has been adjacently installed at a thin film forming device 1. The negative electrode base material and the raw material drawn out are moved to the thin film formation device without making them exposed to the atmospheric air. In the device 1, using the raw material, the inorganic sold electrolyte thin film is formed on the negative electrode base material. Afterwards, the negative electrode base material having a thin film is moved to the inside of a chamber 5 which is substantially inactive against the lithium without exposing to the atmospheric air, and there, the negative electrode base material having the thin film is housed in the sealing container. |
