PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an automatic transaction device, enabling a person to gain account discrimination information to perform a transaction, even if inserting a banknote having a magnetic stripe differed in specification or a banknote, having a magnetic strip the contents of which are broken. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a banknote printer, and the banknote printer comprises a carrying means for carrying a banknote medium 24, a magnetic read means for reading the contents of the magnetic strip of the banknote medium, an optical read means for optically reading the discrimination mark of each page of the banknote medium, and a printing means 12 for printing the transaction contents in a prescribed page of the banknote medium. In the transaction, the contents of the account discrimination information read from the magnetic stripe of the banknote medium 24 by the magnetic read means 11 is printed in a prescribed position within the banknote medium as a discrimination mark by the printing means. |
