PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a shape of a grommet easy to remove an inner metal mold for a one-motion grommet capable of being latched by a one-direction insertion into a through hole of a car body panel. SOLUTION: The grommet comprises a first small-diameter cylindrical section formed at the front part of the longitudinal direction of an insertion side, a diameter-expanded cylindrical section connected to the first small-diameter cylindrical section, a heavy-wall closing section formed at the rear end of the diameter-expanded cylindrical section and a second small-diameter cylindrical section projected from the peripheral edge of a center hole of the heavy-wall closing section. A car-body latching concave that makes a front slant wall and a rear vertical wall oppose each other interposing a groove is formed at the rear-side external periphery of the diameter-expanded cylindrical section, and a ring-shaped groove extending to the internal position of the car-body latching concave is so formed at the heavy-wall closing section as to reach the hollow of a cone cylindrical section. In the first small-diameter cylindrical section, a part facing to the side of a long shaft is notched very near to the foot that reaches the diameter-expanded cylindrical section, but a pair of arc fragments is remained at a part facing to the side of a short shaft. |
