The pump has a piston-cylinder unit (1) operated by a hand grip (3), and a foot part (4) for pump operation. The unit is connected to a valve head (2) via a line (5), which is contained within the unit and extracted for use. The foot part is moveable between a position for standing operation of the pump, and a space-saving rest position. The pump can be used as a hand pump and a foot pump. The piston-cylinder unit has a holder part (16) for fastening to a frame tube of the bicycle.
