Snow board binding has fixing device with pivoted spring-loaded closing element, pressed against spring and locked when boot is fitted into binding

The binding has a fixing device (3) for front and rear end of a boot sole. One, esp. the rear fixing device has a closing element (7), which pivots about a horizontal shaft (A) and has an overlap nose (14). When the binding is not in use, the closing element is in spring-loaded open position, and when a boot is fitted into the binding, the closing element is pressed by the boot against the spring action into closing position, and locked. Both fixing devices are contained in a shell-like housing (1).
