The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for remote boresighting a large caliber gun by electro-optical means, while a single user performs the alignment in close proximity to the sight of a weapons platform carrying the gun. A remote boresight comprised of an imager, which includes a TV camera, is attached either internally or externally to the gun, and used to relay a target image to the single user. The user views the same target through the sight, and brings the sight and the gun into alignment. |
