PURPOSE: A pivot driving type pump is provided to prevent reduction of durability of a bearing-shaft impeller and to make easy to manufacture and maintain. CONSTITUTION: An impeller-integrated type shaft(21), formed integrally with an impeller(14), is placed on a rotary center of the impeller. Non-restraining contacting devices(23a,23b) are formed between one end of the impeller-integrated type shaft and a housing(20) and between the other end of the impeller-integrated type shaft and an intercepting device(18). The non-restraining contacting devices comprise ceramic balls and ceramic bushes. Insertion grooves are formed on the both ends of the impeller-integrated type shaft for the ceramic balls to be rotatably placed without detachment. The ceramic bushes are placed on parts of the housing and the intercepting device where the ceramic balls contact.
