A work table, especially for the processing of curved or beveled workpieces has a lower frame (1), a work plate (2) and at least one machine tool (3). The surface of the work plate has several slots (4) running in parallel and at least on one of the sides of the work plate, a recess is provided for the arrangement of at least one machine tool. The parallel slots in the work plate have an equally large spacing. Several slots are arranged to be running in a crosswise fashion. A retainer (6) is inserted in to the slots for the workpiece (7) to be processed.
