PURPOSE: A connectionless-oriented information service method through an SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to consider a regional characteristic necessary for a distributed type of server and a mobile wireless terminal, and to prevent a line from being used while information search is not performed so that the efficiency of the line can be improved. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station,12) of an IP(Information Provider) transmits an SMS message received from a BS(Base Station,16) to a server(14) of the IP through a data communication cable. The server(14) transforms a result of processing the message in an SMS format to delivery the transformed SMS format to the MS(12). The MS(12) delivers the SMS message to the BS(16). The BS(16) stores a list of the IP server(14). The list is delivered to an MS(10) requesting the search of regional information and displayed as a shared information list. The information search MS(10) requests items of the shared list to the BS(16). The BS(16) displays items of an included shared list through an SMS. The BS(16) recognizes a telephone number of the MS(12) through the items of the shared list, and requests information of the IP server(14) using the telephone number for information search. A cell phone communication network or a wired IP network(20), an Internet server(22) and a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) server(24), which are servers providing existing information services, receive the SMS message requesting information search through a wired line provided by a cell phone carrier(18) and respond to the message in a cable type, then the BS(16) delivers the responded message to the information search MS(10). |
