DEODORIZING FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizintg filter capable of developing sufficient catalytic action without lowering the initial capacity of an adsorbing material, capable of holding life as the deodorizing filter over a long period of time by regenerating the adsorbability of the adsorbing material and reduced in the deterioration of catalytic function even if a poisoning substance of a catalyst component is present. SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric comprises a first nonwoven fabric 2 containing the adsorbing material held by a binder and the second and third nonwoven fabrics 3 and 4 arranged on the upstream and downstream sides of the first nonwoven fabric 2 with respect to an air flowing direction in order to extract dust. At least one of the first nonwoven fabric and the third nonwoven fabric positioned on the downstream side is coated or impregnated with an aqueous solution or coating agent containing at least one kind of a catalyst selected from ruthenium, ruthenium oxide and ruthenium chloride.
