PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic body with picture, in which the ceramic body having good image-preservation property can be stably manufactured at a low cost with a simple process, and in which an image with a high coloring density and a good gradation property can be formed. SOLUTION: A transfer-sheet has a transfer-layer comprising a transfer- material containing transfer-inorganic pigment, and an image-receiving-sheet has an image-receiving-layer to which the transfer material can be transferred. On forming the same colored-image in a transfer process, the surface of the transfer-layer of the transfer sheet is brought into at least contact with the surface of the image-receiving-layer of the image-receiving-sheet-the contact is carried out as divided for two or more times by using two or more transfer- sheets-, so that the transfer material is transferred to the surface of the image- receiving-layer and the image comprising the transfer material is formed on the surface of the image-receiving-layer. This image is arranged on the surface of the ceramic body, and the ceramic body is heated so that the inorganic pigment contained in the transfer material is sintered on the surface of the body.
