PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newly identified polynucleotide, a polypeptide encoded by the same, usages of these polypeptides and a method for producing the polypeptides. SOLUTION: A polynucleotide isolated from human. The isolated polynucleotide is selected from the group consisting of (a) polynucleotides each encoding a G-protein conjugated receptor polypeptide having a specific estimated amino acid sequence, or a fragment, an analog or a derivative of the polypeptide; and (b) polynucleotides each encoding a G-protein conjugated receptor polypeptide having an amino acid sequence encoded by a cDNA contained in ATCC stipulation No.75,824, or a fragment, an analog or a derivative of the polypeptide. The polypeptide is useful for treating, for example, hypercalcemia, a disease of bone remodeling including osteoporosis, osteal deformans and some types of hypercalcemia in malignant tumors. |
