PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for small parts enabling good shape accuracy with simple finish, as well as excellent in the strength or the like when protrusions are formed. SOLUTION: A metallic material 1 is placed between a male mold 11 and a female mold 12, in which mouth width of the opening is smaller than a pressing surface area 11a of the male mold 11. The male mold 11 is pressed against the metallic material 1 to form a recessed part 2, caused by the intrusion of the male mold 11 on the surface side of the metallic material 1, simultaneously a protrusion 3 projects into the female mold 12 from the back side of the metallic material 1.
