PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the installation space and the equipment cost of bar code readers 4, 8 which read several kinds of bar codes by commonly using recognition parts 15a, 15b. SOLUTION: In these bar code readers 4, 8, the recognition parts 15a, 15b having the function to recognize several kinds of bar codes are made to recognize the bar code from a picture containing the bar code according to the kind of the bar code. |
