PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems as difficulty in recycling, being heavy, poor appearance configuration, difficulty in mounting operation and the like. SOLUTION: The weatherstrip for an automobile in which a big nail part 12 and a small nail part 13 sandwiching a body flange 21 from the lower end inner wall of the leg part 17 outside the car 40 of the grip part 11 having an overturned U-shaped frame, and from the lower end inner wall of the leg part 18 inside the car 50 are protruded in a different level facing to each other. The end part of the big nail part is disposed higher than the end part of the small nail part, and a fin part 15 elastically contacting with a body panel 20 from leg part outer wall outside the car is protruded. A hollow seal part 14 is provided on the upper surface of the ceiling, and a seal lip part 16 elastically contacting with the end part of an interior member 23 from the outer wall inside the car is protruded.
