<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing material for a vehicle exterior trim member capable of relieving a shock against a human body at the time of collision. SOLUTION: The shock absorbing material of the vehicle exterior trim member is made of a polyolefine system resin foaming body sheet of 0.05-0.5 g/cc in density, 1.1-5.0 in an average value of an aspect ratio Dz/Dxy of a cell inherently existing in a central layer and 5 mm or more in thickness. The polyolefine system resin is favourably polypropyrene system resin, and the vehicle exterior trim member is, for example, the hood of an automobile. The shock absorbing material in the above constitution is used by attaching it on one side of the vehicle exterior trim member, favourably, on the indoor side of the vehicle.</p> |
