PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt connector easy to engage and release a male member and a female member, not only easy in release when a belt is in a tense state but also uneasy in release when the belt is loosed. SOLUTION: This belt connector comprises the female member 10 and the male member 20 which can be engaged with and released from each other. An engaging and releasing part of the female member 10 is released from the side of a belt connection part 12, has a narrow part at a middle part thereof and consists of an almost U-letter shaped clamping elastic part 13. An engaging and releasing part 22 of the male member 20 protrudes from the rear surface at the almost central part of a board- like body 21. A terminal face part in the side of a belt connection part 23 has at least a protrusive provision part 24 made a circumscribed cylinder surface against the clamping face of the female member's clamping elastic part 12 and an almost C-letter shaped engaging and clinging flange 25, rear face of which is engaged and clung with a surface engaging and clinging face of the clamping elastic part 13 in the top end of the protrusive provision part 24. In the engaging and clinging flange 25, a diameter from the center arbor of the protrusive provision part 24's cylinder face is increased gradually in a direction approaching the belt connector part 23. |
