PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn winder capable of stably winding yarn, even at very fast rates of 8,000 m/min or more. SOLUTION: In the yarn winder, a driving motor 7 is connected to the rear end of a rotating shaft 5 which constitutes a spindle 4, and a bobbin support cylinder 8 is connected to the other axial end; the yarn is wound on a bobbin 9 attached to the bobbin support cylinder 8, as the yarn is pressed by a touch roller 20. A rolling bearing 52 for supporting at least the support cylinder 9 side end of the rotating shaft 5 and/or another rolling bearing 53 for supporting at least the motor 22 connection side axial end of the touch roller 20 have their respective rollers 63 and 73 made of ceramics.
