摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physically deposited hard film covering tool capable of corresponding to drying and accelerating cutting work by improving abrasion resistance and crater resistance of a hard film with TiAl as its main component. SOLUTION: The hard film covering tool covering at least one layer of hard layers constituted of a metal element made of Ti, Al and B and at least one kind of elements selected from C, N and O on a tool base body is constituted by interposing a nitride phase of B in the hard layer.
