PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunscreening cosmetic that gives a refreshing, not-sticky feeling after application, inhibits unpleasant gloss and make-up fading and don't retain the whiteness to the skin and the hair. SOLUTION: Chromanol glycoside and an ultraviolet scattering agent are formulated at a specific ratio whereby the objective sunscreening cosmetic is obtained that gives light sensation of feeling, when applied, with no greasiness after application to the skin, inhibits unpleasant gloss and make-up fading, when applied for hours and can suppress the excessive whiteness on the face skin and the hair, when applied to the face and/or the hair.
