METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FOLDING, BENDING AND FORMING RODLIKE BREAD DOUGH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fold and bend a rodlike bread dough into a uniform length and to pack the dough into a food mold. SOLUTION: A rodlike bead dough is folded and bent into a uniform length and transported to a food mold. A photosensor detects the length of the rodlike bread dough while the length direction of the rodlike bread dough is made perpendicular to the transportation direction. An aligning apparatus for the rodlike bread dough to be transported and a folding and bending member capable of moving a folding and bending position and adjusting a pushed amount depending upon the detected length fold the rodlike bread dough to a uniform length and transport it to the food mold.
