PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester enabling reaped grain culms to be smoothly delivered to a threshing feed chain not only in the case of performing a reaping work but also in the case of threshing grain culms reaped by a handwork. SOLUTION: This combine harvester has such a scheme that a threshing feed chain 6 whose grain culm conveyance speed is to put to synchronous change to vehicle speed change and to which reaped grain culms are to be delivered from a reaping section is designed to be made variable in conveyance speed by a speed change operative means in such a control way that the conveyance speed comes greater as the conveyance speed of the reaped grain culms at the reaping section 3 is made greater in the case of a reaping work mode, in contrast, the conveyance speed of the feed chain 6 comes to a set speed for the work halt in the case of a non-reaping work mode, and the conveyance speed of the feed chain 6 is put to control to a set speed for handwork in response to a command of driving the feed chain 6 at that set speed.
