The invention relates to a mould-holder hydraulic cylinder used for manipulating the objects produced by compacting the mixtures of silicon carbide in the technological process carried out by presses. According to the invention, the mould-holder hydraulic cylinder ensures the reduction of the cylinder overall dimensions by the fact that the cylinder rod (5) is protected, at its lower side, by a protection belly (11) wherethrough the filtered air goes in and out. The moulding plate is hingedly attached to the cylinder rod (5) by means of two clips (15) which clamp the driven member by some nuts (16). The cylinder rod (5) has at its upper part some nuts (20) and the guiding of rod (5) is ensured by means of a telescoping guiding element (B) mounted between the piston head (A) and the upper cover (3) of the cylinder (1). The guiding element (B) is provided with some bushes (21), a hollow element (22), the guiding is carried out by some equidistant antifriction plates (25) radially pressed by means of a screw (23) and a nut (24).
