PURPOSE: A door locking device is provided to lock and unlock a sliding door easily and to lock a sliding door simply by locking automatically simultaneous with closing a door. CONSTITUTION: In a sliding door divided into an inner door and an outer door, the door locking device comprises: a case(5) fixed to the side of a frame(3) of the inner door and provided with a space to the inside; a latch(7) installed to the inside of the case(5) movably, kept at the projected state toward the front of the case(5) by a spring, provided with an incline formed sideward on the projected front end, a through hole formed on the middle and an inclined cam surface formed inward; a push pin installed to be in and out from one side of the case(5) to make the inner front end in contact with the inclined cam surface of the latch(7); and a hanging piece(6) installed to the corresponding location to the latch(7) on the inside of a frame(4) of the outer door and provided with a hanging groove(14) formed on the middle.
