ANTIGLARE FILM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING ANTIGLARE FILM, POLARIZER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: An antiglare film, a method for producing the antiglare film, a polarizer, and a liquid crystal display are provided to obtain excellent contrast by excluding reflection of the external light by applying an antiglare film to a polarizer of a liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: An antiglare film(1) comprises a triacetyl cellulose transparent support(2) having one or more hard coat layers including an antiglare hard coat layer(3). The hard coat layer contiguous to the triacetyl cellulose transparent support is formed from a coating solution comprising solvents comprising one or more solvents for dissolving the triacetyl cellulose support and one or more solvents not for dissolving the triacetyl cellulose support. The antiglare film is used in a polarizer used for a liquid crystal display.
