PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method in the field of a device with a push button switch and a method for promoting sales thereof in order to cope with the diversification of user's sense of value. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a cover member 1 for push button switch arranged on a switch board 4 and covered with exterior cases 2 and 3 has a means for showing the design of the member 1 in the state of being covered with the cases 2 and 3 to the third party 23 by an information communicating means, a means for advertising for the design of a key top part 5 being a part of the member 1 exposed from the cases 2 and 3 to the third party 23 by the information communicating means and a means for adopting the design of the part 5 applying to the advertising means as a basic design B and produces the member 1 based on the adopted basic design B.
