<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver capable of using plural printers on a network without wasting the storage capacity of a storage device. SOLUTION: It is decided whether a selected driver is a common driver or not (S12) and when any driver except for the common driver is selected, conventional printing setting is performed (S14). When the selected driver is the common driver, the operation of the common driver is started and in a step S13, printers belonging to the same category are retrieved out of plural printers on the network. In a step S15, a series of printing preparations are finished by performing prescribed printing setting.</p> |
