PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communications equipment and a retrieval device, having a simple configuration by minimizing increase in the number of gates, when they are integrated in as an LSI or the like, and to provide a retrieval method for the communications equipment. SOLUTION: A comparator 101 of the communications equipment 100 receives an input signal and an address signal and provides an output of a coincidence signal, when both signals are coincident. A crystal oscillator 102 outputs a clock signal. A counter 103 receives the clock signal outputted from the crystal oscillator 102 and a start signal and provides an output of parallel data. A decoder 104 receives the parallel data and outputs the address signal. A memory 105 is configured, such that it receives the address signal and provides the output of data stored in the corresponding address.
