PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image printer having a printer main body that prints out an image on recording paper and a remote controller that remotely controls the printer main body, where the configuration of the printer main body is simplified, an excellent sense of use can be obtained and the operability is enhanced, and to provide the remote controller. SOLUTION: In the image printer having the printer main body 1 that prints out an image on recording paper and the remote controller 2 that remotely controls the printer main body 1, the remote controller is provided with a mount means 23 that removably mounts a recording medium 4 on which image data are recorded, a generating means 26 that converts an image size of the image data recorded on the recording medium mounted by the mount means 23 to generate print image data, and a transmission means 21 that transmits the print image data generated by the generating means 26 to the printer main body, and the printer main body is provided with a reception means 11 that receives the print image data transmitted by the transmission means 21 and with a print means19 that prints out the received print image data. |
