PURPOSE: A core material of a drain board for accelerating consolidated drainage of the soft ground is provided to improve drainage efficiency of a drain board. CONSTITUTION: In a core material of a drain board for accelerating consolidated drainage of the soft ground interposed to the soft ground vertically to discharge moisture in the soft ground, a drain board for accelerating consolidation drainage of the soft ground comprises: an upper board(4) provided with many projections(4a) projected to both sides of the core material and many through holes(4b) between projections(4a); a lower board(5) piled on the lower side of the upper board(4) and provided with many projections(5a) projected to both sides and many through holes(5b) between the projections(5a); and heartwood interposed between the upper board(4) and the lower board(5) and provided with many projections projected to both sides.
