PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system capable of providing respective viewers with sufficient explanations only for an interested display object. SOLUTION: This display system is provided with an IC tag device for the display object attached to the display object for storing the identification information of the display object and the explanation information of the display object, the IC tag device for a display table attached to the display table for displaying the display object for receiving and storing the identification of the display object and the explanation information of the display object and portable terminal equipment carried by the viewer for receiving the explanation information of the display object by communicating with the IC tag device for the display table and displaying and/or voice-outputting it.
